Exciting Premiere of ‘Nöthin But a Good Time’ 80s Hair Metal Docuseries on Paramount+

Paramount+ recently revealed the upcoming launch of a new docuseries titled “Nöthin But a Good Time: The Uncensored Story of ’80s Hair Metal.” This three-part show is set to delve into the world of ’80s metal music, featuring interviews with iconic figures from the era such as Bret Michaels from Poison, Stephen Pearcy from Ratt, Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme, Dave “Snake” Sabo from Skid Row, and Riki Rachtman, the host of Headbangers Ball. Notably, Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Steve-O from Jackass will also be making appearances in the series.

Director Jeff Tremaine, known for his work on the Mötley Crüe biopic “The Dirt,” expressed his excitement about the upcoming docuseries, describing it as a tribute to the most outrageous decade in rock ‘n’ roll. Tremaine shared, “This docuseries is a celebration of the most outrageous decade in rock ‘n’ roll. It’s my love letter to the ’80s.”

“Nöthin But a Good Time” draws inspiration from the 2021 book “Nöthin’ But a Good Time: The Uncensored History of the ’80s Hard Rock Explosion.” The title itself pays homage to the era with its inclusion of an umlaut, a stylistic nod to the heavy metal bands that defined the ’80s music scene. While a specific premiere date for the series has yet to be announced, fans can anticipate a deep dive into the vibrant and electrifying world of ’80s hair metal.

As music enthusiasts eagerly await the release of “Nöthin But a Good Time: The Uncensored Story of ’80s Hair Metal,” the docuseries promises to offer a nostalgic journey back to a time when rock ‘n’ roll reigned supreme. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting exploration of the ’80s hard rock explosion.
