Paramount+ Renews Drama ‘School Spirits’ for Season 2

Paramount+ just announced that the drama “School Spirits” will be returning for a third season. The show is set in the fictional town of Split River, Wisconsin, and follows Maddie, a teenager stuck in the afterlife as she investigates her mysterious disappearance. She navigates high school in the afterlife while uncovering more secrets and lies the closer she gets to the truth.

Created by Awesomeness TV, both seasons one and two of “School Spirits” are available for streaming on Paramount+ in various countries including the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Latin America, and Brazil. Season two will also be premiering in Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria at a later date.

The second season of “School Spirits” premiered to an average audience of 3.9 million in its first 28 days, showing a significant increase of 94% from the season 1 premiere. Fans can look forward to more masterful storytelling and captivating performances from the cast in the upcoming season.

Featuring Peyton List as Maddie Nears, the second season continues the story of her character grappling with the truth of her situation and trying to reclaim her life. The show also stars Kristian Ventura, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, Rainbow Wedell, Josh Zuckerman, and Milo Manheim in various roles.

The series was created by Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud, with Oliver Goldstick serving as co-showrunner and executive producer. Peyton List is also a producer on the show. Production of “School Spirits” is overseen by Shauna Phelan, Head of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action, along with executives from Awesomeness Studios.
