Laverne Cox and George Wallace to Star in New Prime Video Series Clean Slate

Laverne Cox and George Wallace team up for an exciting new series on Prime Video called “Clean Slate,” premiering on Feb. 6. The show also features Telma Hopkins, D.K. Uzoukwu, Jay Wilkison, and Norah Murphy.

The storyline follows Harry, played by Wallace, the owner of a traditional car wash in Alabama. When his long-lost child, now a proud trans woman named Desiree (Cox), makes a return after 17 years, Harry finds himself on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance.

Cox not only stars in the series but also serves as an executive producer. With eight episodes in total, the show delves into themes of unconditional love with Norman Lear’s unique comedic touch.
