Exciting news for Samsung users! Disney+ is adding HDR10+ support for Samsung devices, including phones, tablets, and TVs. This technology enhances colors, brightness, and details in videos frame-by-frame, resulting in a better viewing experience.

While Disney+ already offers Dolby Vision and HDR10, HDR10+ will take picture quality to the next level. The best part? HDR10+ is a royalty-free standard developed in collaboration with companies like Century Fox, Amazon, and Panasonic.

Samsung users, who didn’t have Dolby Vision support before, will now benefit from HDR10+. This addition will give them a superior viewing experience compared to regular HDR10. Other streaming services like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Hulu, and YouTube already offer HDR10+, and it’s great to see Disney+ following suit.

Netflix currently doesn’t support HDR10+, only offering Dolby Vision and HDR10. By incorporating HDR10+, Disney+ is taking a big step to ensure Samsung users enjoy the best picture quality available. It’s a smart move that will elevate the streaming experience for many Samsung device owners.

Stay tuned for more updates as Samsung’s Instant Slow-mo feature is next in line to receive HDR10+ support with the upcoming software update. Exciting times ahead for Samsung users as they’ll soon enjoy even better video quality on Disney+ with HDR10+.
