If you’re a fan of Marvel, you might already know Asif Ali from his role as Abilash Tandon in “WandaVision,” or Saagar Shaikh as Aamir Khan in “Ms. Marvel.” Exciting news for fans of these talented actors – they are teaming up for a new Hulu comedy series called Deli Boys, where they play two deli boys who discover their father’s secret criminal past and try to make a name for themselves in the underworld.
New photos have been released, showing Ali and Shaikh in action. One photo captures them looking surprised, hinting at some crime-related chaos with the FBI in the background. In another, they stand in their deli aprons, giving off a vibe reminiscent of Michael Bay’s “Bad Boys.”
“Deli Boys” is set to premiere on Thursday, March 6, on Hulu. The show follows two Pakistani American brothers who, after their father’s death, must confront his hidden criminal life and decide if they want to follow in his footsteps. Alongside Ali and Shaikh, the series stars Poorna Jagannathan, Alfie Fuller, and Brian George.
This half-hour, 10-episode series was brought to life by creator Abdullah Saeed and developed by Jenni Konner Productions.
