Camila Morrone Teams Up with Horror Creators for Netflix

Camila Morrone is all geared up to star in a new Netflix horror series called “Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen,” joining forces with actor Adam DiMarco. This exciting project has been in the works since November, when it was reported that Morrone and DiMarco were in talks to be a part of it.

The horror series was greenlit by Netflix back in July and is the brainchild of creator Haley Z. Boston. Adding to the thrill, the talented Duffer brothers, famous for their work on “Stranger Things,” are on board as executive producers under their Netflix deal. Additionally, Weronika Tofilska, who recently received an Emmy nomination for directing “Baby Reindeer” on Netflix, will direct four episodes of “Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen.”

The show’s official description sets the stage for some spine-tingling drama, describing it as an “atmospheric horror series centered around a wedding.” We follow the soon-to-be bride (Morrone) and groom (DiMarco) in the week leading up to their ill-fated union. As the show’s logline playfully hints, “That’s not a spoiler—just read the title.”

Camila Morrone, known for her role in “Mickey and the Bear,” has recently garnered critical acclaim for her performance in the Amazon series “Daisy Jones & The Six,” earning an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Fans can also catch her in the upcoming second season of “The Night Manager” for BBC and Amazon, although the release date is still up in the air. With Morrone’s talent and the stellar team behind this new series, “Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen” promises to be a must-watch for horror fans everywhere.
