Authorities are investigating an accidental shooting at a North Omaha residence on Sunday that tragically resulted in the death of a 6-year-old girl named Alonni Barfield. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but, sadly, did not survive. There were other children present at the time of the incident, and they are now under the care of the state.

In exciting sports news, Nebraska volleyball will be taking on Penn State in the NCAA Final Four today. The game is set to start at around 8 p.m. at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky., immediately following the Pittsburgh vs. Louisville match at 5:30 p.m. You can catch both national semi-final games on ESPN and WatchESPN for those who prefer streaming.
