Hulu’s ‘Into the Void’ Docu-Series on Heavy Metal Announced
Hulu recently revealed their plans to air a brand-new docu-series in 2025 that will delve into the fascinating world of heavy metal. Titled ‘Into the Void’, this eight-part series is aiming to spotlight the “untold” stories of some of the most iconic figures in metal history.
Although the specific subjects of the series are still shrouded in mystery, Deadline announced that production is already underway with Vice Studios Canada on board. Vice Studios Canada is responsible for other popular works like the wrestling-themed docu-series, ‘Dark Side of the Ring’. The show will be released exclusively on Hulu in the U.S.
‘Into the Void’ is brought to us by executive producers Evan Husney and Jason Eisener, marking a creative reunion for the pair who previously worked together on ‘Dark Side of the Ring’. In a recent Instagram post, Evan expressed his admiration for metal and how this genre has enticed them for a long time. He highlighted the enticing blend of fantasy and reality that metal offers, and teased the exploration of the “untold history” and “unimaginable trials and tribulations” of metal icons.
While the specific metal legends to be featured in ‘Into the Void’ are still a secret – Evan Husney assures us that the full lineup will be unveiled in 2025. The anticipation is building, as fans eagerly await the chance to dive into the hidden stories of some of metal’s greatest icons.
