The latest lineup of Hulu originals set to debut in January strikes a perfect balance, with several highly-anticipated premieres. The standout title for the month is “Paradise” (Jan. 28), a thrilling drama series created by Dan Fogelman, known for his work on “This Is Us.” The series stars Sterling K. Brown as the head of security for the U.S. president, played by James Marsden. Things take a dark turn early on when the president is tragically murdered, leaving Brown’s character in a precarious position.

But that’s not all Hulu has in store for its subscribers in January. Fans of ABC franchises can look forward to the season premieres of several popular shows. Starting with the third season of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” on Jan. 9, hosted by the legendary Ken Jennings. Later in the month, on Jan. 28, “The Bachelor” returns for its 29th season, featuring former “The Bachelorette” contestant Grant Ellis. Additionally, a fresh take on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” will premiere on Jan. 3, adding to the excitement.

Crime drama enthusiasts will be pleased to know that both “The Rookie” (Jan. 8) starring Nathan Fillion, and the police procedural “Will Trent” (Jan. 8) based on the novels by Karin Slaughter, are back with new seasons. And if you’re a fan of docuseries, mark your calendar for Jan. 31 when “Scamanda” makes its debut. This series, inspired by a popular podcast, delves into the incredible true story of a woman who deceived many by falsely claiming to have cancer.

Rounding out the month is a special treat for comedy lovers – a new stand-up special from comedian Roy Wood Jr. titled “Lonely Flowers” set to premiere on Jan. 17. With this diverse array of content, Hulu is gearing up to kick off the new year with a bang.
