“Marvel Studios Nova Disney+ Series Hires Ed Bernero as Showrunner”
Today, there’s big news in the world of Marvel Studios: Ed Bernero has signed on as showrunner for the upcoming Nova TV Series on Disney+. If you’re familiar with his work, you might remember him from his time overseeing Criminal Minds in the early 2000s. He’s stepping in to take over from Sabir Pirzada, who joined the project a couple of years ago after working on Moon Knight. When this project first started, no one knew if it would end up as a series or a feature film, but now it’s officially a TV show. Production is slated to kick off around late 2025, and the plot is rumored to pick up after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, focusing on Richard Rider mentoring Sam Alexander in the Nova Corps.
