“Star Trek: Lower Decks Series Finale Preview With New Images”

The animated comedy Star Trek: Lower Decks will be wrapping up its five-season run this week with its final episode. Titled “The New Next Generation,” the finale is set to bring some emotional moments according to show creator Mike McMahan. The finale will have an extended runtime and features some returning characters like the Klingon brothers Malor and Ma’ah. Episode 10 was penned by Mike McMahan and directed by Megan Lloyd, and it premieres on Paramount+ on Thursday, December 19th.

The episode promises “lots of wild stuff happening” in the season finale. Some preview images give us a glimpse of characters like Jerry O’Connell as Jack Ransom, Paul Scheer as Andy Billups, Eugene Cordero as Rutherford, and more. There’s also a teaser trailer from New York Comic Con.
