Banijay Nordic has just unveiled a fresh leadership duo for Mastiff Norway, with Sissel Randsborg stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer and Hege Vik Hansen taking on the position of Creative Director. These two powerhouse leaders are geared up to keep Mastiff Norway at the top of its game by focusing on a wide range of content, from impactful news-driven shows to exciting entertainment formats.

In her role as CEO, Randsborg will be in charge of day-to-day operations, setting the company’s strategic direction, and boosting growth in factual programming. Meanwhile, Vik Hansen, as Creative Director, will spearhead creative projects, handle the entertainment lineup, and foster strong relationships with clients.

Mastiff Norway has been making waves with the launch of innovative new formats and fresh takes on classic favorites. Notably, they’ve seen success with shows like The Summit, which is now a hit in seven different countries, and Bloody Game, a format from South Korea that Mastiff adapted first. Fans can look forward to the return of Bloody Game on TV 2 soon. The company has also churned out popular productions like Good Luck Guys on Prime Video, Hunted VIP on Discovery, as well as fan favorites like Crime Scene, Paradise Hotel, and the local hit Good Morning Norway.

Jacob Houlind, CEO of Banijay Nordic, is thrilled about the new leadership team at Mastiff Norway. He praises Randsborg and Vik Hansen for their energy and vision, highlighting their key roles in delivering top-notch content for clients and audiences alike. These promotions underscore Banijay Nordic’s dedication to nurturing talent from within the organization and empowering leaders in the entertainment industry.

These new appointments come as Jostein Olseng, the current leader at Mastiff Norway, gears up for a transition before departing to join NRK in spring 2025. This move is part of Banijay Nordic’s strategy to showcase talent within its network, as showcased by recent developments in Sweden with leaders like Madelene Hansson and Elin Kvist taking on prominent roles in the industry.
