Jamie Foxx Glass Injury at Beverly Hills Restaurant: Stitches Required

Jamie Foxx is on the mend after his reps shared that he was struck by glass at a Beverly Hills restaurant where a scuffle reportedly broke out on Friday night. The Academy Award winner needed stitches as a result of the incident at Mr. Chow restaurant on Camden Drive, according to his representative speaking to KABC.

Foxx was celebrating his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth, the representative mentioned. The Beverly Hills Police Department responded to the situation, finding that there was indeed a physical altercation between groups, though the report was considered unfounded. The police labeled the event as a battery and no arrests have been made as of Saturday night. The investigation remains ongoing.

It is not clear whether Foxx was directly involved in the altercation or was an innocent bystander at the other table, but sources familiar with the case suggest his injuries aren’t serious. In a social media post early Sunday, Foxx wrote, “The devil is busy, but I’m too blessed to be stressed.” He added, “When your light is shining bright…they try to bring you to darkness…but they don’t know that you’re built for it.”

We wish Jamie Foxx a speedy recovery and hope for a peaceful resolution to the investigation.
