Episode 9 Recap: Shocking Revelation about Lynn’s Death in ‘Before’

we get to see the fruits of his labor though, we cut to Noah strapped to a wheelchair in a sterile, white room, being administered a high dose of medication. It looks like the end for him. But get this – his body starts levitating! Denise watches in horror, shouting, “He’s doing it again!”, implying this has happened before. Color me shooketh.
Before Episode 9 wraps up with a chilling monologue from Eli as he declares he is going to prove that Noah is his son, and that Lynn sent Noah back to him. Somehow, this is connected to the “X” we and Eli saw when the farmhouse’s attic door swung open, which I still don’t get, but I’m more unruffled by that than I am by pretty much everything else that transpires within these walls. No wonder Jake quit his job. If he doesn’t feature in the finale, I won’t hold it against him.
