College of Coastal Georgia Softball Announces 2025 Schedule
The College of Coastal Georgia Softball team is gearing up for an exciting season ahead with the release of their 2025 schedule by head coach Mike Minick. The Mariners, who had a stellar 2024 season finishing with a 39-14 overall record, are setting their sights on a back-to-back regular-season Sun Conference championship.
With a 50-game regular-season slate on the horizon, Coastal Georgia Softball is off to a strong start, kicking off their season on February 1 with a doubleheader against Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Following their home opener, the team will hit the road for 12 consecutive games, including stops in Columbia, Lawrenceville, Mount Vernon, and Savannah.
March will see the Mariners diving into three back-to-back Sun Conference series, facing tough opponents like the Gyrenes and Bobcats, before heading to Lakeland to take on the Fire of Southeastern. As April approaches, Coastal Georgia will travel to Florida Memorial and ABAC, and host a series of conference games with Warner and New College of Florida.
To wrap up the regular season in style, the Mariners are looking forward to hosting the Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies for their final non-conference doubleheader. The season will culminate with a senior weekend celebration in Brunswick as Webber International comes to town on April 25-26. And mark your calendars for the Sun Conference Tournament scheduled for May 1-3, 2025.
