Golden Globe Awards 2025: Walt Disney Company Receives 35 Nominations
The Walt Disney Company is beaming with pride as they secure an impressive 35 Golden Globe® Award nominations! These nominations span across the various arms of the company, including The Walt Disney Studios which encompasses Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures. Additionally, Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television, ABC Entertainment, FX, FX Productions, Hulu Originals, Marvel Television, and Searchlight Television all received well-deserved recognition.
Among these nominations, Disney’s streaming platforms Disney+ and Hulu collectively scoop up 23 nominations. Hulu particularly shines with 19 nominations, thanks to standout shows like Hulu Original “Only Murders in the Building,” FX series “Shōgun,” and “The Bear,” which leads all television series with five nominations. ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” also received well-earned praise.
Searchlight Pictures didn’t disappoint either, earning 10 nods including nods for Best Motion Picture for “A Complete Unknown” and “A Real Pain.” Notable actors like Timothée Chalamet, Jesse Eisenberg, Jesse Plemons, and Amy Adams also received nominations for their stellar performances in various projects under the Disney umbrella.
