Flour Bluff High School Students Elevate Sports Streaming to New Heights

Flour Bluff students are taking high school sports streaming to new heights, and it’s all thanks to the dedicated students who work in the press box at the Flour Bluff High School stadium. According to Jake Ruffo, one of the students in the program, it takes a lot of preparation, but everything runs smoothly every single week thanks to great teamwork all around.

Another student, Brannon Chapman, shared how cool it is that they get to do their own thing, making the streaming program feel unique and personal to them. These students are part of the Flour Bluff sports information program, which is entirely student-led. Their teamwork and dedication ensure that viewers never miss the action, whether it’s for parents who can’t make it to the games or grandparents who live outside of Corpus Christi.

Each student involved has their own role to play, but they come together to create a seamless final product that viewers enjoy. Landon Smith, another student in the program, finds it very rewarding to see the positive impact of their work on the audience. Their most-viewed stream this season reached nearly 50,000 viewers, showcasing the growth and importance of this student-led initiative in the community.
