Prime Video has added Apple TV+ as an add-on subscription for viewers in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Residents of these countries can now access Apple TV+ for $12.99 AUD/month in Australia, £8.99/month in the UK, and $12.99 CA$/month in Canada through their Prime Video account. This subscription gives Prime Video customers access to a wide range of TV shows and films, including popular series like “Morning Wars” and “Severance.” Additionally, viewers can enjoy Major League Baseball and Soccer events through this service.

Kelly Day, the vice president of international at Prime Video, expressed excitement about the expansion of Apple TV+ on Prime Video, providing customers with an even greater selection of entertainment all in one convenient app. Daniel Slepak, head of marketplace Prime Video for Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, highlighted that Prime Video offers not only Apple TV+ but also a variety of premium programming, live sports, and additional streaming subscriptions.

Apple’s senior vice president of services, Eddy Cue, shared Apple’s goal of making Apple TV+ widely accessible to viewers globally. The availability of Apple TV+ as an add-on subscription on Prime Video eliminates the need for cable or downloading additional apps, providing a seamless viewing experience. This addition comes after the recent inclusion of the anime streaming service Crunchyroll as an add-on subscription to Prime Video in Australia earlier this year.
