Ardova HPL: Safety Babes Victorious Over Peacocks and Seasiders, Kings Fall
Safety Babes crushed the competition with a 40-28 win over Plateau Peacock of Jos in the Ardova Handball Premier League on Wednesday. They’re on fire this season, unbeaten and looking like champions in the making. Coach Innocent Nwankwo led the team with skill, guiding the players and giving them tactical advice throughout the match. And boy, did they deliver! Their dominant performance secured another victory.
In the women’s division, Rivers Queens narrowly defeated Delta Queens 30-29, while Seasiders Babes triumphed over Rima Queens 23-22. The competition is fierce!
On the men’s side, Lagos Seasiders suffered a tough loss to Rima Strikers, with a final score of 29-24. Correction Boys outplayed Sunshine Kings with a strong 40-25 victory, and De Defenders fell short against Benue Buffaloes, losing 30-19.
