Disney+ has just added an ESPN tile to its homepage, making it even easier for subscribers to access a wider range of content. Now, if you’re signed up for the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle, you can watch ESPN shows directly from the Disney+ app. But even if you only have a Disney+ subscription, you’ll still have access to some Hulu and ESPN+ content, like live NBA games, the Australian Open, and “30 for 30” sports documentaries.

This move is all part of Disney’s strategy to keep subscribers engaged and reduce the urge to cancel. Alisa Bowen, president of Disney+, explained that by seamlessly integrating all of their streaming services into one platform, they hope to make it easier for subscribers to enjoy everything they’re paying for without the hassle of navigating between different apps.

In addition to the ESPN tile, Disney also recently added a Hulu tile to Disney+, creating a more cohesive viewing experience. The company believes that by offering a seamless platform for all its content, they can retain more subscribers and keep them satisfied. This strategy is all part of Disney’s larger plan to grow its streaming business. They aim to achieve a 10% operating margin on their entertainment streaming services by 2025.

For sports fans, Disney is gearing up to launch its ESPN flagship product in August, adding even more sports content to their streaming lineup. With these new additions and improvements, Disney hopes to keep subscribers happy and coming back for more.
