Go back to where it all began with everyone’s favorite serial killer on Paramount+ as they have just released the trailer for Dexter: Original Sin. The show stars Patrick Gibson as a younger Dexter Morgan, taking us back to 1991 and introducing us to Dexter as a college student trying to suppress his dark urges. With the help of his father, played by Christian Slater, Dexter’s transformation into a vigilante killer unfolds as he interns at the Miami Metro Police Department.
The cast also includes Molly Brown, Christina Milian, James Martinez, Alex Shimizu, and Reno Wilson, with special appearances by Sarah Michelle Gellar and Patrick Dempsey. Michael C. Hall returns to voice Dexter’s inner monologue, giving fans a taste of the original Dexter experience.
Executive produced by Clyde Phillips, Scott Reynolds, Hal, Mary Leah Sutton, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns, and produced by Robert Lloyd Lewis, Dexter: Original Sin marks the second return to the Dexter universe after the original series ended. Following the 2021 sequel series, Dexter: New Blood, this new installment promises an exciting take on the iconic character, played by Hall alongside Jack Alcott, Julia Jones, Johnny Sequoyah, Alano Miller, and Clancy Brown.
