John Krasinski and Matthew Rhys Join Forces for Prime Video Serial Killer Series
John Krasinski and Matthew Rhys are teaming up for an exciting new project on Prime Video called “Silent River.” The series, described as a thrilling drama, delves into the secrets of a small town rocked by the discovery of a serial killer in their midst. The story unfolds through the eyes of two men, played by Krasinski and Rhys, whose lives are more intertwined than they initially realize.
The show is the brainchild of Aaron Rabin, known for his work on “Jack Ryan,” who not only created the series but also serves as an executive producer. Krasinski will take on the role of director for the pilot episode and additional installments, with seasoned TV director Andrew Bernstein, known for his work on “Ozark,” also stepping in to direct and produce.
Excitingly, this project coincides with the renewal of Krasinki and Seeger’s Sunday Night Productions’ first look deal with Amazon MGM Studios, adding another layer of anticipation to the mix.
