Local Mansfield Home Care Agency to Appear on ‘The Blox’ Show
Two registered nurses from Mansfield, Brittany Rayburn, and Desiree Nidiffer, are set to make their debut on the upcoming season of "The Blox," a reality web TV show often likened to a blend of "Shark Tank" and "The Apprentice." The duo, who co-founded Agape United Home Care LLC, a home care agency based in Mansfield, are gearing up to revolutionize in-home care services in the local region, catering to Richland, Ashland, and Crawford counties.
Rayburn and Nidiffer were selected through a nationwide search to participate in Season 20 of "The Blox," an immersive reality show designed for entrepreneurs. Contestants on the show have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, compete for startup funding, and potentially secure investments for their ventures. Rayburn shared that she came across the casting call for Season 20 of "The Blox" through BetaBlox, an entrepreneurship organization she follows on Facebook.
Hosted by Wes Burgmann, a prominent reality TV personality, entrepreneur coach, and the founder of BetaBlox, "The Blox" provides a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to showcase their business acumen. Rayburn and Nidiffer’s journey to securing a spot on the show involved submitting an essay and business model, followed by video and phone interviews, culminating in their selection to compete in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in January 2025.
Out of a pool of approximately 50 contestants chosen nationwide, Rayburn attributes their selection to the impressive work they have been doing with Agape United, including the launch of supplemental staffing services to address staffing shortages in nursing homes. The duo’s dedication to their business, coupled with their commitment to quality care, caught the attention of the show’s producers.
"The Blox" airs on various platforms including Facebook, Prime Video, and Apple and Android mobile apps, offering contestants the chance to vie for a $10,000 cash prize. Rayburn and Nidiffer emphasize their extensive experience in the healthcare sector and their shared passion for delivering compassionate assistance to those in need.
As they gear up for their television debut, Rayburn and Nidiffer’s participation in "The Blox" represents a significant milestone in their entrepreneurial journey, showcasing their drive to innovate and make a positive impact in the realm of in-home care services.
