‘The Traitors’ Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed on Peacock Platform
Peacock has announced that the Season 3 premiere of the reality competition series "The Traitors," hosted by Alan Cumming, will debut on January 9. The news was revealed by Cumming himself on Today.
"The Traitors" is a unique competition where contestants, referred to as the Faithful, collaborate on missions to win a prize that can reach up to $250,000. Their challenge is to identify the secret players among them who are working against them to eliminate them from the game.
In the upcoming third season, 21 celebrities will participate, with at least three of them handpicked by Cumming to act as Traitors, while the remaining contestants will be Faithfuls. The season premiere will unveil the identities of these "Traitors."
The second season of "The Traitors" achieved the top spot as the number one unscripted series in the U.S. across all streaming platforms during its launch week, as reported by Nielsen. The show’s first season also received recognition, winning the Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program.
Season 3 of "The Traitors" will maintain its formula of featuring a mix of reality stars and celebrities. The lineup includes familiar faces such as Bob Harper from "The Biggest Loser," Bob the Drag Queen from "RuPaul’s Drag Race," Chanel Ayan from "The Real Housewives of Dubai," Chrishell Stause from "Selling Sunset," Dorinda Medley from "The Real Housewives of New York City," Gabby Windey from "The Bachelorette," and Tom Sandoval from "Vanderpump Rules," among others.
"The Traitors" is produced by Studio Lambert, with Stephen Lambert, Mike Cotton, Sam Rees-Jones, Rosie Franks, Jack Burgess, and Tim Harcourt serving as executive producers. The show’s engaging format and star-studded cast promise an exciting and suspenseful Season 3 for fans to enjoy.
