A new Prime Video series, "Nautilus," is set to premiere, offering a fresh take on the origin story of Captain Nemo. The series follows an Indian Prince who, after being stripped of his birthright and family, embarks on a journey of revenge against the East India Mercantile Company. Led by Shazad Latif, the cast includes talents like Georgia Flood, Thierry Frémont, and Richard E Grant.

Shazad Latif portrays Captain Nemo, a character seeking retribution with a crew by his side. Latif is recognized for his roles in popular shows like Spooks, Penny Dreadful, and Star Trek: Discovery. Georgia Flood plays Humility Lucas, a privileged individual taken captive by the crew. Flood is known for her work in Apples Never Fall and Wentworth.

Thierry Frémont takes on the role of Gustave Benoit, the ship’s architect and a member of Captain Nemo’s crew. Frémont has appeared in various films and TV shows, including Fortune Express and Allied. Tyrone Ngatai plays Kai, described as a Māori with a gentle heart. Ngatai’s credits include Luna Seven and The Abandoned.

Ashan Kumar portrays Ranbir, an impressionable dreamer among Captain Nemo’s crew. Kumar has also starred in Last King of the Cross.
