Release date announced for Netflix’s animated Tomb Raider series
Netflix has announced that Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will be released on October 10. The series picks up after the events of the Survivor Trilogy, focusing on a more mature Lara Croft. According to Netflix’s Tudum, Lara will be forced to confront her true self and decide what kind of hero she wants to become while chasing down a dangerous stolen artifact.
Legendary Television and Powerhouse Animation are producing the series, with Tasha Huo serving as executive producer and writer. Hayley Atwell, known for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, voices Lara Croft in the series. It’s essential to note that this series is distinct from another Tomb Raider project currently in development for Prime Video, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the writer and executive producer.
