Netflix Renews ‘The Ultimatum’ and ‘Queer Love’ Spinoff, Unveils Three New Reality Series

Netflix is expanding its reality TV offerings with renewals and new series, catering to a diverse audience. One of the returning shows is “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On,” which will be back for a third season in December. The show follows six couples facing a tough decision where one partner is ready for marriage while the other is hesitant. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the series challenges the couples to commit to marriage or choose to move on after an eight-week ultimatum. The show is produced by Kinetic Content.

Another returning series is the spinoff “The Ultimatum: Queer Love,” which focuses on women and nonbinary individuals. Hosted by JoAnna Garcia Swisher, the show will return for a second season with 10 episodes, although Netflix has not announced a release date.

Netflix has also announced three new reality series. “Selling the City” will follow real estate agents in New York City as they navigate the luxury real estate market. The show, produced by Done and Done Productions, will consist of eight episodes.

“Building the Band” is a new series that adopts a “Love Is Blind” format for music. Fifty singers will form bands without seeing each other, leading to dramatic encounters when they finally meet. The show promises incredible performances and compelling drama, with executive producers Cat Lawson, Alison Holloway, Katrina Morrison, and Clara Elliot.

Lastly, “Battle Camp” will bring together stars from various Netflix reality shows for a physical and mental competition. Contestants will face challenges and punishments to avoid elimination, with the winner taking home a $250,000 prize. The show is produced by Thames, a Fremantle label.

In addition to these new and returning shows, Netflix has announced “Owning Manhattan,” a series following broker Ryan Serhant’s quest to dominate the New York City real estate market. The show, produced by World of Wonder Productions, will showcase Serhant’s journey to become the best brokerage in the world.

Netflix continues to expand its unscripted programming slate, offering a variety of shows like “Squid Game: The Challenge,” “Love Is Blind,” “Selling Sunset,” and “Love on the Spectrum.” With a mix of renewals and new series, Netflix remains a go-to platform for reality TV enthusiasts.
