Netflix to Offer Sneak Peek of ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 at Lucca Comics & Games
Netflix’s highly anticipated “Squid Game 2” is set to make a splash at Lucca Comics & Games, Europe’s premier comics and gaming convention. The creator, writer, and director of “Squid Game,” Hwang Dong-hyuk, will be joined by stars Lee Jung-jae and Wi Ha-Joon to offer a sneak peek of the upcoming second season of the Korean thriller series at the event in Lucca, Italy, running from Oct. 30 to Nov. 3.
The second season of “Squid Game” is expected to debut later this year. Netflix has been tight-lipped about the event on Oct. 31, but given the immense popularity of the series, it’s anticipated to draw significant interest from fans.
Aside from the “Squid Game” preview, Lucca Comics & Games will feature other exciting highlights this year. Special celebrations are planned for the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons, the 40th anniversary of Tetris, and the 25th anniversary of the iconic Japanese manga “One Piece,” which Netflix recently adapted into a live-action series.
The convention also revealed this year’s poster, titled “The Butterfly Effect,” designed by Japanese artist Yoshitaka Amano. Known for his work on the Final Fantasy video game series, Amano’s poster is said to be inspired by Giacomo Puccini’s opera “Madame Butterfly.”
The event promises to be a thrilling gathering for fans of comics, gaming, and pop culture. With a diverse lineup of celebrations and showcases, Lucca Comics & Games continues to be a must-visit destination for enthusiasts of all things fantasy and entertainment.
