Prime Video Acquires Web Series Helluva Boss for Streaming
Prime Video has snagged the popular web series Helluva Boss from the creators of Hazbin Hotel. Not only did they acquire seasons three and four of the series, but they’re also set to release seasons one and two this fall, with episodes to follow on YouTube. It’s set in Hell and follows the antics of Blitzo’s assassination business and his crew in dark comedic situations.
Vivienne Medrano, the executive producer and creator of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, expressed her gratitude to Prime Video for their support. She’s thrilled to expand The Hellaverse with Helluva Boss and is excited about the possibilities for indie animation. At the LVP Up Expo, she unveiled the news and gave viewers a sneak peek at an animation clip featuring characters from both series.
The voice cast includes talented stars like Brandon Rogers, Richard Horvitz, Vivian Williams, Erica Lindbeck, and Bryce Pinkham. Medrano, the mastermind behind the series, serves as the executive producer alongside Tom Murray.
