Prime Video Acquires ‘Helluva Boss’ and Orders Season 3 and 4
Prime Video has some exciting news for fans of the web series “Helluva Boss.” They’ve recently acquired the show and not only that, they’ve ordered seasons 3 and 4! This announcement was made at the LVL UP Expo last week through a special animation featuring characters from “Helluva Boss” and Prime Video’s “Hazbin Hotel.” It’s official – both series exist in the same Hellaverse universe!
What’s really cool about this deal is that the first two seasons of “Helluva Boss” will premiere on Prime Video in the Fall, while also continuing to be available on YouTube. But here’s the kicker: future seasons will have an exclusive home on Prime Video. That means you can catch all the chaos and comedy in “Helluva Boss” in over 240 countries and territories around the world.
Vivienne Medrano, the Executive Producer and Creator behind “Hazbin Hotel” and “Helluva Boss,” expressed her gratitude to Prime Video for their support and for giving her team at Spindlehorse the chance to expand The Hellaverse by embracing “Helluva Boss.” She’s pumped about what this means for indie animation and can’t wait for fans to see what they have in store!
For those unfamiliar, “Helluva Boss” is set in Hell and follows Blitzo, an imp who leads I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals), a chaotic assassination business fueled by a magical grimoire. Alongside his crew – Moxxie, Millie, and Loona – Blitzo takes on contracts to eliminate targets in the human world, all while navigating their personal lives. The series is known for its absurd, violent, and darkly comedic situations.
The show boasts a talented voice cast including Brandon Rogers, Richard Horvitz, Vivian Williams, Erica Lindbeck, and Bryce Pinkham. Plus, you might recognize other familiar voices like Alex Brightman, James Monroe Iglehart, Cristina Vee, and more.
As part of this deal, Vivienne Medrano inked a “first look” agreement with Prime Video, ensuring more exciting content is on the horizon. So get ready to dive into the wild world of “Helluva Boss” on Prime Video – it’s going to be a blast!
