Greg Berlanti Lands Series Order for Horror Drama ‘Stillwater’ on Amazon

Greg Berlanti is making moves in the entertainment world with new projects at three different streaming services! Stillwater, a horror drama based on the popular comic series, has received a series order from Amazon’s Prime Video. But that’s not all – Berlanti is also working on a high school mystery series for Hulu and a family drama for Max.

All three projects are being produced by Warner Bros. TV, where Berlanti has a long-standing relationship and a rich overall deal. This studio has been his home for most of his career, and it’s where he continues to create engaging content for audiences across different platforms.

What’s exciting about Stillwater and the Hulu project, Foster Dade, is that they will mark Berlanti’s return to writing for television after several years. While he’s best known for producing hit shows like The CW’s Arrow-verse series, Berlanti hasn’t had a writing credit since the early days of You on Netflix. So, it’s sure to be a treat for fans to see his work on screen in a different capacity.

In Stillwater, Berlanti and Carly Wray (known for their work on Watchmen and Mad Men) are teaming up to adapt the gripping comic series from Skybound. The story follows ex-convict Daniel West, who uncovers a mysterious letter that leads him to the town of Stillwater. There, he finds a community where time stands still, and dark secrets lurk beneath the surface. With an all-star team behind the scenes, including Robert Kirkman and David Alpert, this series is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats with its eerie, supernatural twists.
