Apple TV+ Dominates 2025 BAFTA TV Craft Awards

Apple TV+ had a fantastic night at the 2025 BAFTA Television Craft Awards, clinching important wins for three of its top productions: Slow Horses, Bad Sisters, and The Velveteen Rabbit.

“Slow Horses” took home the Best Editing: Fiction award for the outstanding work of editor Sam Williams. The thriller, headlined by Gary Oldman, has been a fan favorite, praised for its gripping storytelling and well-paced narrative. The award pays tribute to Williams’ skill in handling the show’s intricate and fast-moving scenes.

In the dark comedy series “Bad Sisters,” the Best Titles and Graphic Identity award went to title designer Peter Anderson Studio. This win highlighted the show’s unique opening sequence, which expertly sets the tone for its mix of suspense and dark humor. Bad Sisters, a tale of sibling drama set in Ireland, has garnered accolades for its sharp writing and distinct visual style.

Another Apple TV+ gem, “The Velveteen Rabbit,” an adaptation of the classic children’s book by Margery Williams, won the Best Production Design: Fiction award. The award recognized production designer Charles Wood and his team for creating an enchanting world that brought the beloved story to life for a new generation.

Since its launch in 2019, Apple TV+ has been on a winning streak, scooping up numerous prestigious awards like Academy Awards, Primetime Emmys, and Golden Globes.

Other Apple TV+ shows like Ted Lasso, Lessons in Chemistry, and Masters of the Air also received multiple nominations, showcasing the platform’s diverse appeal across genres from comedy to historical epics.
