Australia Streaming Wars Q1 2025: Minor Adjustments in the Streambly Landscape

The latest stats for the Australian streaming landscape in Q1 2025 are here, and there have been some minor changes since last quarter. Thanks to data from JustWatch, we can now see how each streaming service is faring in Australia.

When we compare the market share of major platforms, we notice slight fluctuations. Netflix saw a 1% decrease, while Disney+ increased by 1%, Stan also gained 1%, and Paramount+ lost 1%. Looking back at Q1 2024, the changes were similarly small, with Disney+ gaining the most at two percentage points.

Next quarter will be interesting to watch, especially with the addition of Max and how it will impact Binge, which previously hosted much of Max’s content.
