Three Trailers: Pee-wee Herman, Predator Badlands, Wednesday Movie Announcement
This week, I’m throwing the playbook out the window and diving straight into some exciting new trailers that have dropped. From Pee-wee Herman to Predators to Wednesday Addams, there’s a lot to unpack.
First up, we’ve got Pee-wee Herman making a comeback in the two-part documentary, Pee-wee as Himself. This doc includes a 40-hour interview with Paul Reubens before his passing in 2023, as well as tons of never-before-seen footage and photos from Reubens’ personal collection. Get ready to relive the magic when Pee-wee as Himself premieres on HBO MAX on May 23.
Next, director Dan Trachtenberg is taking us to an unknown planet in the future with Predator: Badlands. In this film, a young Predator embarks on an adventure after being cast out by his clan. Could this also be a Highlander movie in disguise? The possibilities are endless. Starring Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, Predator: Badlands hits theaters on November 7.
And finally, we’re heading back to Netflix for season two of Wednesday. While the first season had its ups and downs, we’re hoping for a more balanced experience this time around. The core cast, including Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Luis Guzmán, returns alongside some new faces like Billie Piper and Steve Buscemi. Get ready for all the spookiness when Part 1 streams on August 6, followed by Part 2 on September 3.
Bonus alert! Fans of the Predator franchise can look forward to the animated series, Predator: Killer of Killers, hitting Hulu on June 6.
There you have it, a whirlwind tour of some exciting trailers to look forward to. Keep your eyes peeled for these upcoming releases!
