Netflix Introduces Dialogue-Only Subtitles for Better Accessibility
Netflix is known for making accessibility a priority, and their latest move is no exception. In addition to traditional closed caption tracks, the streaming giant has now introduced dialogue-only subtitles for select titles. This new feature is currently available for the popular series “You.”
Dialogue-only subtitles are designed to make it easier for viewers to follow along with the conversation without being distracted by unnecessary text. This can be especially helpful for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as those who simply prefer a more streamlined viewing experience.
To access dialogue-only subtitles on Netflix, simply select the “Subtitles” option while watching a title and choose the “Dialogue” option. This will display only the spoken words on the screen, making it easier to focus on the dialogue.
While dialogue-only subtitles are currently only available for “You,” Netflix may expand this feature to other titles in the future. Keep an eye out for updates and enjoy a more immersive viewing experience with dialogue-only subtitles on Netflix.
