Paramount+ Rejects Full-Length Star Trek: Discovery Finale, Reveals Series Star

hen we were going to wrap the show up. The producers wanted an additional episode to really touch everyone’s stories and give the series a proper send-off. Unfortunately, Paramount+ turned down the request for a full-length movie finale or even an extra episode to tie up loose ends. In the end, the cast and crew had about 12 pages to wrap everything up.

The cast filmed the epilogue in just three days, filled with tears, laughter, and lots of emotions. Despite the challenges, Sonequa Martin-Green expressed gratitude for any opportunity to give the series a proper conclusion. She mentioned that not all shows get this chance, so she was thankful for the opportunity.
