The Tyrone Lady Eagles soared past rival Bellwood-Antis in a thrilling softball match with a final score of 9-1. Amariah Sprankle came in clutch with her second home run of the season, contributing to an impressive victory for Tyrone.

In addition to Sprankle’s standout performance, Ally McNelis also shined, securing two RBIs. Lucy Fogelman put on a show with two hits and three RBIs, further solidifying Tyrone’s dominance on the field. On the Bellwood-Antis side, Karlie Sweigert managed to secure two hits in a commendable effort.

Kaitlyn Rockwell, the winning pitcher for Tyrone, delivered a stellar performance, scattering seven hits, striking out 11 batters, and only allowing one walk. Hollidaysburg showcased an outstanding offensive display as they outlasted Bishop Guilfoyle with a final score of 19-11. Mia Hall’s incredible performance of four hits and five RBIs, alongside Lexi Peacock’s three hits, four runs, and six RBIs, led the Lady Tigers to a well-deserved victory.

Penn Cambria dominated their game against Bishop Carroll Catholic, securing a 16-0 win. Sophia Rabatin’s impressive home run and four RBIs, along with a perfect game thrown by Alyse Rabatin and Emily Farabaugh, highlighted the Lady Panthers’ exceptional skill and teamwork.
