Greg Kinnear and Aidy Bryant to Star in Holes Disney+ Series Pilot

Exciting news for fans of the book “Holes”! Disney+ has just shared details about the upcoming pilot for the series adaptation. Based on the popular 1998 novel by Louis Sachar, this reimagined series follows a teenage girl, Hayley, who finds herself at a detention camp run by the ruthless Warden. Under the Warden’s orders, the campers must dig holes for a mysterious purpose.

Greg Kinnear will take on the role of The Warden at Camp Yucca, with Aidy Bryant playing the part of Sissy, a camp counselor whose true loyalties may lie elsewhere. In a twist from the original story, the main character of Stanley Yelnats is now Hayley, portrayed by Shay Rudolph. Like Stanley, Hayley is also wrongly accused and sent to the camp.

Joining the cast are Flor Delis Alicea, Anire Kim Amoda, Iesha Daniels, Sophie Dieterlen, Alexandra Doke, and Maeve Press as the other teenage campers, along with Noah Cottrell as Kitch, who works in the camp’s kitchen.
