Star Wars: Visions Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed on Disney+

“Star Wars: Visions” Season 3 is on its way! Lucasfilm announced details about the third installment of this beloved Disney+ Original animated short series at the recent Star Wars Celebration event in Japan.

The first season, which debuted in 2021, featured nine unique shorts created by seven Japanese anime studios, each offering a fresh cultural perspective on the Star Wars universe. The second season, released in 2023, expanded the series internationally, showcasing animation from countries like Japan, India, the UK, and the US.

Now, “Star Wars: Visions” Season 3 is returning to its Japanese roots with nine new shorts from nine different anime studios, including Kamikaze Douga, Kinema Citrus Co., Production I.G, TRIGGER, ANIMA, David Production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio Q, and WIT Studio.

Fans can mark their calendars for the premiere of Season 3 on Disney+ on October 29th, 2025. What’s more, three popular shorts from the first season – “The Duel,” “The Village Bride,” and “The Ninth Jedi” – are getting sequels: “The Duel: Payback,” “The Lost Ones,” and “The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope.”

Exciting new shorts for this season include “Yoku’s Treasure” from Kinema Citrus, “The Smuggler” by Studio TRIGGER, “The Bounty Hunters” from WIT Studio, “The Song of Nine Wings” from Studio Project Q, “The Bird of Paradise” from Polygon Pictures, and “Black” from David Productions.
