Norman Lear’s latest project, “Clean Slate,” unfortunately got the axe after just one season on Prime Video. The stars of the series, Laverne Cox and George Wallace, along with co-creator Dan Ewen, shared the sad news in a guest column on Deadline. The show premiered on February 6 on the Amazon streaming platform but was unexpectedly canceled by the end of March, leaving behind what they described as a “seven-year effort gone in a puff of server exhaust.”
