Disney Plus May 2025: New Releases and Content Coming Soon

It’s already May, and Disney Plus is gearing up with a whole bunch of new content to kick off the new month! With an abundance of new shows and movies, there’s something for everyone. Ready to see what Disney Plus has in store for May 2025? Let’s dive in!

May 1st brings us “Rise Up, Sing Out” (Shorts) Season 2 with 7 episodes, along with the debut of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” Then, on May 2nd, we have “Genghis Khan: The Secret History of the Mongols” Season 1 launching with 6 episodes.

On May 4th, we have the premiere of a Disney+ Original series, “Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld,” with all episodes streaming. We also get the debut of “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” and “Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance” at Disneyland Resort.

For fans of “Andor,” rejoice! May 6th brings three new episodes of Season 2. If you’re a “Doctor Who” enthusiast, catch Season 2, Episode 4, on May 3rd, Episode 5 on May 10th, Episode 6 on May 17th, and Episode 7 on May 24th. And mark your calendars for the Season Finale airing at 11 a.m. PT on May 31st.

May 7th introduces new episodes of “Broken Karaoke,” “Firebuds,” and “Hamster & Gretel.” Plus, “Big City Greens” Season 4 Episode 1 is here! May 9th is jam-packed with fresh content – “History’s Greatest of All Time with Peyton Manning,” “The Toys That Built America,” “The UnXplained,” and “WWE Rivals” Seasons 2 and 4.

On May 13th, catch the season finale of “Andor” Season 2. “Tucci in Italy” premieres on May 19th, and the next day, enjoy the premiere of “Minnie’s Bow-Toons: Pet Hotel,” a brand-new short-form series.

As we near the end of the month, don’t miss “Me & Winnie the Pooh” and “Playdate with Winnie the Pooh” on May 28th. And to round out May, the Doctor Who Season 2 finale will air on May 31st at 11 a.m. PT.
