Wheel of Time Season 3 Finale: Deaths, Surprises, & Future Plans

The third season of The Wheel of Time has wrapped up, leaving fans with plenty to talk about. In the finale, titled ‘He Who Comes With The Dawn’, we saw some shocking moments and unexpected twists that have left viewers eager to know more about what’s to come in the world of high fantasy.

Warning: Spoilers ahead! So if you haven’t watched the latest episode yet, proceed with caution.

Starting with the big question on everyone’s mind: Who meets their end in the season 3 finale of The Wheel of Time? Well, there were several casualties, but one death, in particular, tugged at the heartstrings of fans. Jeanie, a member of Liandrin’s Black Ajah group, met her demise at the hands of Elayne, who used the powerful Balefire to protect Thom Merrilin from Jeanie’s attack in Tanchico.

Speaking of Balefire, it’s a potent weapon that erases a person’s existence from the Pattern itself. Due to its destructive nature, it was banned by wielders of the One Power after the War of Power. Moving on, Chesmal, another member of the Black Ajah, seems to have met her end at the hands of Min, who rescued Mat by taking down Chesmal.

But the villains didn’t escape unscathed either. Sammael, one of the Forsaken, met his demise at the hands of Moghedien in a gruesome fashion that we won’t delve into here. Melindhra, a Malkier-born Maiden of the Spear, also met her fate after betraying The Shadow and paying the ultimate price.

And then there’s the most surprising and significant death of the episode – Siuan Sanche, the Amyrlin Seat. Her story spanned 10 years from a victorious past to a tragic present where she falls victim to a coup orchestrated by Elaida.

The Wheel of Time’s season 3 finale delivered some major blows, setting the stage for what’s to come in the next season, if there is one. With so many threads left hanging, fans are eagerly awaiting news of a potential season 4. Stay tuned!
