Nick Carter reveals emotions over Aaron’s death: ‘I haven’t had a chance to grieve’
Nick Carter is shedding light on the passing of his younger brother, Aaron Carter, and revealing why he hasn’t been able to properly mourn yet. The former teen pop idol, Aaron, sadly passed away in November 2022 at the age of 34. Records from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner later confirmed that Aaron’s cause of death was accidental drowning after inhaling difluoroethane and taking alprazolam.
In the emotional Paramount+ documentary “The Carters: Hurts To Love You,” set to premiere on April 15, Nick Carter and Angel Carter Conrad, Aaron’s twin and his only remaining sibling, reflect on the heartbreaking loss of their sibling. Opening up about how he found out about Aaron’s passing, Nick shared a heart-wrenching moment when he received a text in London. He recalled the disbelief he felt at that moment and expressed that he hasn’t had the opportunity to properly process his grief.
The documentary delves into the tragic deaths of Leslie Carter in 2012 at age 25 and B.J. Carter in December 2023 at age 41, exploring the struggles that the Carter siblings faced throughout their lives. Nick and Angel have a poignant conversation about wanting to break the “generational cycle” of suffering that their siblings experienced and ensuring that it does not affect future generations.
As they walk along the beach, Nick expresses his deep desire to halt the cycle and protect their children from the same struggles.
