Netflix Adds Popular Nickelodeon Series in First-Ever Collaboration

Netflix is stepping up its game for kids in the US by adding a popular Nickelodeon series for the very first time this summer. Although this Nickelodeon series has been available on Netflix in other regions before, it’s a first for the US. Starting on July 1, the show will be available for streaming on Netflix for two years, until June 30, 2027.

The series making its debut on American Netflix is Paw Patrol, but only Season 2 and Season 3 will be added, not the entire series. This might seem a bit unusual, but it’s actually how the show is typically released in different regions. For example, Canada, where the show is produced, currently offers Season 4 through Season 11, more than any other region. Despite its limited availability, Paw Patrol still managed to rank as the fourth most popular kids series on Netflix last year, just behind CoComelon, Peppa Pig, and Gabby’s Dollhouse.

For those who might not be familiar, Paw Patrol is an animated TV show created by Keith Chapman and produced by Spin Master Entertainment. The show first aired in August 2013 and has continued to release new episodes ever since. With 11 seasons and 262 episodes under its belt, along with a few movies, Paw Patrol shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, the creators have hinted that the show could go on for many more years if the demand remains strong.

At this point, there’s no mention of additional seasons of Paw Patrol being added beyond Season 2 and Season 3. But if anything changes, we’ll be sure to keep you updated. For more news on Netflix, including the latest updates, rumors, and leaks, stay tuned.
