The highly-anticipated former Disney+ Original Series “Nautilus” is finally getting a US release! Inspired by Jules Verne’s classic “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea,” the show delves into the origin story of the iconic Captain Nemo, a crusading scientist who was once an Indian prince.

Originally set to premiere on Disney+, “Nautilus” was redirected to other platforms due to cost-cutting measures, and found its way to audiences in Australia and the UK through Stan and Amazon Prime Video. US fans can rejoice as AMC picked up the rights to the series about 18 months ago and has set a premiere date for June 29th, 2025, on AMC and AMC+.
