First Nautilus Teaser Trailer Released After Two Years of Inactivity

Nautilus, the nautical fantasy series that originally set sail with Disney+ back in 2023, has finally found a new home at AMC and AMC+. After a tumultuous journey through the streaming seas, the ten-episode series is now set to premiere on June 29th.

Originally envisioned as a lavish production inspired by classic tales of adventure beneath the waves, Nautilus faced the choppy waters of shifting streaming strategies when Disney+ decided to part ways with the series after wrapping filming on all episodes. In an effort to streamline costs, Disney+ vaulted several completed projects, including Nautilus, much to the disappointment of eager fans.

Undeterred by this setback, the team behind Nautilus at Paramount embarked on a new voyage to find a fresh start for their ambitious project. Interestingly, U.K. audiences got a sneak peek at the underwater escapades when the series made a splash on Prime Video in October 2024.

For North American fans eagerly awaiting their chance to dive into the deep sea adventures, the wait is almost over. Nearly two years after its original acquisition, Nautilus is making waves on AMC and AMC+. The series’ first teaser trailer has just been released, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the breathtaking world awaiting viewers beneath the surface.

According to previous press statements, Nautilus promises to deliver a gripping drama that will appeal to fans of popular series like Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe and Orphan Black: Echoes. Creator James Dormer expressed his excitement for Nautilus to get a new lease on life, emphasizing the dedication and effort put into making the show.

The series, centered around Nemo, an Indian Prince seeking revenge and embarking on incredible adventures aboard the Nautilus, stars Shazad Latif as Nemo, Georgia Flood as Humility Lucas, and Thierry Frémont as Gustave Benoit, among others. The show is slated to air on AMC and AMC+ starting on June 29th at 9/8c, with a two-episode season finale set for August 17th. Get ready to explore a magical underwater world as Nautilus sets sail to captivate audiences once again!
