Samira Wiley not returning for The Handmaid’s Tale sequel: “I am done with the trauma”

Wiley mentioned that she had to use techniques like meditation and mindfulness to manage her mental health while immersing herself in the dark world of the show. She emphasized the importance of taking care of mental health, especially for those who binge-watch the series.
Since its premiere in 2017, “The Handmaid’s Tale” has captivated audiences with its portrayal of a society where women have no rights. The sequel, “The Testaments,” based on Margaret Atwood’s book, is set 15 years after the original series.
