Variety reported the confirmation of The Last of Us Season 3 this week. It all started back in 2023 when Neil Druckmann, the franchise director, and showrunner Craig Mazin hinted that they planned to split the events of The Last of Us Part 2 into multiple seasons. Looks like their plan is shaping up nicely. Both Season 2 and Season 3 will cover the events of the second game, which was released in 2020 to critical acclaim.

Season 2 is set to debut on HBO Max on April 13, 2025. Get ready to join Ellie and Joel on their journey beyond the events of the first game.
