One Dead, One Injured in Highway 21 Crash: Wednesday Incident
Tragic news out of Cannon Mines, Missouri, as a crash on Wednesday morning on Missouri Highway 21 has resulted in one person’s passing and another’s serious injury. The accident occurred at around 11:40 a.m. at Highway 21 and Peacock Road in Cannon Mines. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Ram 2500 pickup truck heading south tried to make a left turn and unfortunately failed to yield to oncoming traffic, colliding with a northbound Chevrolet Equinox on its front right side.
Regrettably, a passenger in the Equinox, a 63-year-old woman from Potosi, lost her life at the scene. The driver, a 55-year-old man also from Potosi, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts when the crash occurred, emphasizing the importance of buckling up.
