Is Apple TV+ Worth It After Watching Severance? Try It Now for Only $2.99

Apple is currently offering a fantastic deal on Apple TV+ with a 70% promotional discount. New and returning customers who are eligible can snag three months of the streaming service for just $2.99 per month, which is $7 less than the regular price of $9.99. To take advantage of this offer, head over to the Apple TV+ website, and click on the Accept Offer button on the promotional slides at the top of the page.

If you’re worried about sharing the subscription, don’t be! Through Family Sharing, you can share a single subscription with up to five other members. The offer is valid until April 24 for customers who subscribe directly to Apple TV+ and not through phone carrier offers or other bundles like Apple One. It is open to both new subscribers and those who have not had a subscription in the last 30 days. Just keep in mind that if your Apple Account is associated with India, Russia, or South Korea, you won’t be able to take advantage of this deal.

It’s worth noting that Apple last offered a freebie in January, where they made Apple TV+ free for all users during the first weekend of 2025. Those who purchase new Apple devices are also eligible for three free months of Apple TV+. Just remember, if you already took advantage of that offer, you won’t be able to grab the $2.99 deal as well.

Once the three-month promotional period ends, you will be charged the regular price of $9.99 per month. However, you are free to cancel your subscription at any time before that to avoid paying higher fees.

This new promotional offer is particularly good news for Android users who missed out on any offers when the dedicated app launched in February. Apple TV+ is currently basking in the glory of the success of “Severance,” a sci-fi thriller that has become the most-watched show on the platform, surpassing even Ted Lasso. Although “Severance” just concluded its second season, Apple is likely trying to entice new viewers at a time when its most popular title may not return for another year or so.
